In the land of Mirabilis elves, goblins, and humans alike search for the precious magical metal called bloodsteel. It is used for a variety of things from helping people see to powering lights. But the bloodstone is becoming scarce and the evil Dragon Eye seeks to control what remains. In order to take control Dragon Eye will stop at nothing to track down the Crucible which is said to be the source of all the bloodstone. To protect all the races from the evil control of Dragon Eye a group of four is brought together to put a stop to his plans and destroy the Crucible so it cannot be used for evil ever again.
